Sups to the rescue! (Warning: Spoilers, you have been warned)

Look! up in the sky!

It's a bird!

no it's sups and he's hitting the theaters once again!

after seven years, he comes back to the big screen and finally realized that he should wear the briefs first before the skin tight blue suit.

I think Henry Cavill did a solid performance as the man of steel (no offense Brandon Routh), it was a good reboot, but others complain that the film was too 'serious' and quite lost some of the superhero element in it well, Nolan was involved so expect it to be a little dark.

I am no film critic nor a superman expert so I won't argue with an expert with more film terminologies than I do but finally, the DC side can start something and match the Marvel peeps, exposure-wise.

the last epic DC flick was of course the final installment of the Dark knight trilogy which sort of boosted Batman's popularity as Nolan's film, in all honesty could have outgrossed the Avengers' but nevertheless, both films were awesome.

Now.

What I mean about Sups being to the rescue is that, his Man of steel can kick start things for a DC cinematic universe which I think they did, because Marvel to be honest is kicking DC's a** right now in the theaters (except for the dark knight trilogy of course, and probably MoS) with that cinematic universe of their own.

If you were quite observant while watching then you should have noticed a couple of easter eggs in the film (see http://www.nextmovie.com/blog/man-of-steel-easter-eggs/) and what had really got into my attention (well, if this is what I think it is as others did) is Bruce Wayne's "existence" in the film.

Yep that's right, Batman was in the film. (or his presence at least)

All of you who only paid attention to Sups uber-muscled physique, during the climatic battle between Clark and General Zod in which they obviously wrecked almost the entire city of Metropolis aside from that random tanker with LexCorp in it (Lex Luthor yo) the throwdown tossed the two Kryptonians into space and crashed into a man made satellite with a familiar logo in it.

Let me show you a visual aid

yep, that's right, ladies and gentlemen, Bruce Wayne was just around but we're unsure if it is the Christian Bale Bruce Wayne (I do hope so) nevertheless, Batman does exist in Man of steel and we definitely haven't seen the last of him in the Dark Knight rises, and what's exciting about this is the fact that this is an entirely different setting which was in Metropolis and Smallville while Wayne is from Gotham, and they won't really trouble themselves just to throw in Gotham into the plot. Overall, this was really a clever inclusion

Unlike Marvel, who has the habit of teasing audience after credits, (well, actually I thought Snyder's gonna do the same in man of steel but I just wasted 10 mins) that scene with the Wayne enterprises logo might actually start speculations from fans that DC is planning a crossover in the future and I think Man of steel started it, who knows, we might actually see Justice League in a few years.

Before we get excited, we have to understand that there's still a lot of work to do, it took Marvel 4 years to gather the Avengers, we have yet to see the other members of the JL hit the big screen because there's a little chance it will look good if they try to jump straight into the crossover superhero movie.

I really do hope that Bale consider another Batman appearance and I doubt that the Green Lantern movie had anything to do in the DC cinematic universe (and Reynolds wants the Deadpool role really bad) but we could expect a reboot of the other JL characters or they can just include some of the characters in any DC superhero film that is part of the JL (like what Marvel did with Hawkeye and Black Widow) or if Nolan comes up with another epic inclusion of the cape crusader then I have absolutely no problem with it because Bale's Batman is just too awesome.

These are just my thoughts, and I guess I'll just have to wait what DC will come up with.

Nice car eh?
